Bio
Nicola Penn works primarily with founders. The high-performing, fast-moving, occasionally overwhelming kind who have built something remarkable and need a steady, honest hand to help them connect with their teams and translate their vision into something the whole organisation can actually follow. Nicola bridges that gap. She brings calm to the storm, brings structure to the space between vision and execution, and makes sure the right things get said to the right people at the right time.
Nicola has held senior roles across media, consumer health, surf, culture and politics. She was part of the senior team at a major consumer health business through their IPO, helped set up cultural project divisions and contributed to the strategy for national cultural events, and spent four years in politics including two federal election campaigns and a referendum.
That range is deliberate. Nicola is as comfortable in a high-stakes commercial negotiation as she is running a team offsite for a business of ten. She speaks both languages fluently.
She holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Applied Coaching from the Australian College of Applied Psychology and has completed an ICF-accredited coaching training programme. She is based in Sydney.
